Playlists are on the KRVM website!

Hi Blues Lovers!

You may be wondering why there has been no playlists posted here for nearly a year.  Things changed and I just forgot to update this blog.  My bad.

I'm being as diligent as I can to now post my playlists on Spinitron, a service KRVM subscribed to a few years ago.  It took me a while to "get with the program" of adding my playlists there.  Now, when you go to the KRVM website, you should see a scrolling list of songs being played under Recently Played Songs on KRVM.  Click on that link.  If the host of the show you are listening to is adding their playlist in Spinitron, you'll see each song there, listed by the time played, the artist/band's name and song title.  You might like this new feature.  It's pretty cool

Playlists for KRVM's Breakfast with the Blues on Sunday are now here.

I should start adding more posts here.  I'll add that to my list...soon.

Keeping it Blue,
RegeMama

Sad news to share.  As I was checking the new BWTB Twitter feed, I learned that Smokin' Joe Kubek died in his sleep from a heart attack last night.  He was 58 years old, would have turned 59 November 30th.  He had just re-signed with Blind Pig last summer and released a new CD this year.  Join me in sending heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.  Life is short my friends...please try to align your intention to live life with no regrets.

I'll be with you again for next Sunday's show, so please tune in locally at 91.9FM or online.  Mic powers up at 7AM (PST).

Keeping it Blue for you,
RegeMama

Duty calls...Reporting to KRVM to host Breakfast with the Blues starting this Sunday

Hi Blues Lovers!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that Boogie King Steve recently retired from hosting KRVM's Sunday Breakfast with the Blues.  KRVM management asked me if I was ready to take on his show.  I had to make some decisions and a few changes, but everything worked out.  So, starting this Sunday, September 13th, I'll be at the microphone, from 7 til 11am, going forward.

I feel like I'll be "double dipping" in the blues since I also preview all the new blues CD's received at the station and I publish a newsletter announcing the new CD's.  If you'd like to receive my new blues newsletter, you can sign up for it here.

Here are some new blues I may be featuring on this Sunday's show:

Save a cup of coffee for me!

Keeping it Blue for you,
